Campbell County Campbell County Historical and Genealogical Society

The Campbell County Historical and Genealogical Society is a non-profit organization formed in 1990, and dedicated to preserving, protecting and promoting history and genealogy in Campbell County, Kentucky. Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month and include a featured speaker on a topic of local interest. Visitors are always welcome!

The Society maintains a research office and local history museum on the second floor of the historic Alexandria Courthouse. Many of the artifacts in the Society's collection are on display in the museum. A few of the Society's ongoing research projects include genealogy, forgotten cemeteries, local log cabins, and military veterans. The Society also writes and reprints local history books.
